U.S. Navy SEALs field-tested CARBTEX products during a mission in Bosnia under
extreme conditions, including temperatures 10 degrees below freezing (Below zero or just
22F?). The results were a resounding success, with the team remaining warm throughout the 10-hour test.
Axia Fibers was established to acquire and optimize the assets of Invista Fiber/Koch. These assets include a 12,500 sq. ft. facility equipped with state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment
designed for producing bi-regional carbonaceous carbon fiber for FR and IR fabric applications.
Axia Fibers' patented G3 fiber represents a breakthrough in high-tech materials. It is fire-resistant (FR), blocks infrared (IR), and offers unparalleled properties unmatched by any other non-chemically produced fibers currently available.
The CARBTEX process earned the prestigious R&D 100 Award for textiles,
often called the “Oscar for Innovation” in industrial technology.
This award recognizes excellence through
rigorous international competition across all technology sectors.
